This page is a tribute to Hall of Fame defenseman Robert Gordon "Bobby" Orr. In my opinion he is the greatest defenseman to ever play the game, and maybe even the best hockey player ever. It's too bad he couldn't play longer. Below are Orr's career stats, awards that Orr won during his career, career achievements and facts about Bobby Orr, pictures of Bobby Orr, videos highlighting Bobby Orr, and links to web sites about Bobby Orr. You can leave a comment on this page below.
If you haven't seen this video of Bobby Orr or you want to see some great old-time hockey, you have to get "The Best of Bobby Orr video." This video is the best, all of the footage is awesome. The moves and plays that they show Bobby Orr make are incredible. We'll probably never see another defenseman do the things that Bobby Orr did back in the day.

Bobby Orr was the most complete player ever to play in the NHL in my opinion. He did more on the ice to help his team win by dominating the play at both ends of the ice when healthy than any other player before him or since. This is what sets him apart from other greats like Gretzky, Lemieux , and Howe. Along with his awesome stats and scoring records no player could hold and keep the puck for extended periods of time like him. He basically said if you lose the puck to me you might not see it again for a couple of minute and you can't take it away from me. Very few could or did. Nice site.
